Diane graduated from Curtin University with a physiotherapy degree in 1982 and then completed post graduate studies in sports physiotherapy in 1986. On graduation she worked at Hollywood Hospital for two years and then set up a physiotherapy clinic at Campbell Barracks, resulting in a twenty year contract with the Department of Defence. This position included clinical work and educating army medics in anatomy and the field treatment of soft tissue injuries. This period included supervising both undergraduate and post graduate students, as well as acting as a DVA clinical advisor. During this time she also worked as a team physiotherapist for various codes of football around Perth.


In 2005 Diane moved to private practice, starting her own West Leederville Practice in 2012. She completed the Dance Medicine Australia Clinical Pilates course in 2011 and has included this in part of her client management since then. Diane has also completed the five week Yoga Synergy Course, and has attended many yoga workshops and courses in Australia and Bali. In 2018 Diane commenced ballet as an “adult beginner” in order to integrate dance into her exercise sessions, particularly with the elderly, and those with neurological conditions. Diane first started working at Inner Focus Physio in 2011, and after a three year break, she is now very happy to return to the team.


Diane’s interests include nature photography, furniture restoration, weight training and gardening.
